3. Intensive reading:

Read the text for a third time and make a table about their names and the answers to these three questions: What does he/she like? What does he/she want to be? Where is he/she going to work?

【設(shè)計意圖】通過skimming快速了解和把握文章主旨大意，訓(xùn)練學(xué)生快速閱讀，獲取文本大意的能力。通過scanning回答問題和判斷對錯的活動，訓(xùn)練學(xué)生快速閱讀文本并查找關(guān)鍵信息的能力。通過intensive reading制作表格將文章內(nèi)容進(jìn)行完整清晰地展示，獲取細(xì)節(jié)信息的同時整體感知文本內(nèi)容。

Step 4. Post-reading

Two students in a group and talk about some information about their partner including what his/her name is, what he/she likes, what he/she wants to be and where he/she is going to work. Then the teacher asks students to write them down and chooses some students to share with others.

【設(shè)計意圖】仿照文本討論同伴的相關(guān)信息并寫下來，能夠加深學(xué)生對文本的理解并訓(xùn)練初步寫作的能力，提升學(xué)生的綜合語言運用能力。

Step 5. Summary

Students summarize what they have learned in this class, and the teacher makes some supplements timely, and tells them to respect different jobs to achieve the cultural awareness objective.

Step 6. Homework

Make a survey of seven schoolmates about what they like and what they want to be and where they are going to work. And choose some students to report the result next class.
